About Me

Hi and welcome to my blog!

My name is Lady…yes that’s my real name :). I live in San Diego, CA-USA. I was inspired by my husband/travel partner, who has a background in internet marketing, to start my own website. For years, he was encouraging me to share our travels with the world. I finally decided to build a website after hearing from family and friends about how much they enjoy learning about our travels. Many seek advice so what better way than to share our travels with them online! Plus, I’ve learned to be a savvy traveler by reading other travel bloggers and now it’s time for me to give back.

Growing up, travel was not part of my culture. So traveling anywhere outside my comfort zone, especially internationally, was (and still is) uncomfortable, overwhelming, and scary. Our first international trip was in Europe in 2012, and since then, we have been bit by the travel bug and I’ve learned to just let go….like buy your ticket, pack your bags, and just go (and yes I am fearful EVERY time I leave home). I have been living this journey of conquering my fears, exploring what I thought was impossible, and living life!!!

One thing I learned about myself through our travels is that I love learning about people and culture. I  have never been so curious about the world! That is why I travel! I hope to inspire you from our wildest adventures and help get you out of your comfort zone; otherwise, you may live voraciously through our travels :).

I am a full-time Professor/Counselor, travel during school breaks, and blog in between it all.

Thank you for visiting my website! I would LOVE to hear your thoughts so please share your comments.

Loved this intro! Just pack your bags and go. It’s good to share your fears of travel with others. People think travelers are fearless when often times it’s the exact opposite. Look forward to your Africa posts. Feel free to tag us on twitter when their up @365traveldates. Great things are coming your way.

I can’t wait to read about your adventures and see the pictures! I also love to travel, but my traveling days are on a temporary hiatus until the kiddos are older. So, in the meantime I will enjoy exploring the world through your eyes (and voice)!

Thank you for your comment, Andrea! Kids are your priority right now and it’ll be much more rewarding when they are older and you can all travel as a family. I’ll be on the same boat as you soon, I hope :). Until then, I’ll be on the lookout for family friendly travel destinations :).
